Refund policy

If you are unhappy with your purchase or have changed your mind please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We are unable to process refunds for items after this 14 day period. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item.

To begin the refund process you must contact us at shop@chestercathedral.com Please include your order number. If you have already received your order, you must return the goods at your own cost within 14 days of contacting us. If your return is accepted, we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), personal care goods, products where the seals are broken and jewellery. These items are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged.  We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Return postage charges are non-refundable outside of the 14 day refund period unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

If you have chosen the standard delivery option this is unprotected postage so any damage received via postage will not be covered and we cannot offer a replacement.
