Chester Cathedral Poster

Rail Art Poster Series:

Originally commissioned in 2017 by the Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership, the Rail Art posters celebrate scenic journeys from Manchester to Chester via the Mid Cheshire Line. A second series, launched in 2019 by the North Cheshire Community Rail Partnership, highlights routes from Chester to Warrington and Liverpool.

About the Artist – Nicky Thompson:

Nicky Thompson is a North West-based artist and designer known for his nostalgic, graphic style. A graduate of the Liverpool School of Art and visiting lecturer at the University of Chester, he runs Chester’s Lemondrop Creative studio. His Marvellous Days Out series brought international acclaim, and his work has been exhibited at venues including the Grosvenor Museum, Tatton Park, and Chester Cathedral.
