This hand-crafted Medieval reproduction is taken from an original 15th-century carving (c.1433–1470) found on the misericords of St Laurence’s Church, Ludlow. Cast from a mould made directly from the original, the piece preserves the delicate form, texture, and rich detail of the medieval carving.
This carving of a rose reflects the church’s connection to the House of York and is remarkable for its condition, retaining the clarity and refinement of the original craftsmanship. The reproduction faithfully captures the subtle colour tones and intricate detailing applied by the medieval carvers.
Cast in a high-quality resin composite and carefully hand-stained to evoke the appearance of aged wood, this reproduction retains the authenticity and character of the historic carving.
Designed for wall mounting, this elegant artefact makes a refined focal point, whether displayed alone or as part of a wider collection. Supplied complete with a D-ring for hanging and a product label.
