Richard Cooper Bronze - Cat Sitting

This super miniature is one of three designs brought to life to capture the charm and attraction of our most widely owned pet. Independence and a touch of elegance is captured in these tiny studies.

This sculpture of a Cat sitting has been cast using the 'lost wax' method and is finished by the traditional process of patination. It is sealed with a protective wax which preserves and enhances the rich layers of patina applied to the surface. 

To care for your bronze please use a soft cloth to polish every now an again. With this gentle care you will notice the depth of colour develops over time to be enjoyed for many years to come. Please do not use water or abrasive materials as this may damage the wax coating and patina. 

This charming Cat Sitting is designed and sculpted by the talented artist Michael Simpson. 

Michael is an unusual sculptor is that his body of work not only consists of adorable mice, but a variety of different wildlife subjects. From stags, hares, to birds of prey and more, no subject is off this sculptors table! 

He enjoys working on several sculpts at the same time moving from one to the next as inspiration dictates. Michael has a unique ability to design extremely accurately and yet with a contemporary feel making his style easily recognised and much appreciated by his loyal collectors. 

Your bronze is beautifully presented in a printed box containing a signed certificate of authenticity. The bronze is engraved with the sculptor’s signature and limited edition number, matching the certificate enclosed.
