Departing from the conventional perspective of Chester, this ground-level fisheye capture provides a unique vantage point near the cobblestone street in the vicinity of an area known as The Cross. These ancient cobblestone streets bear witness to the historical footsteps of Roman Legionnaires heading to war, Viking raiders causing chaos, and Norman invaders triumphing over the Anglo Saxons. The charm and distinctive character of Chester owe much to the architectural facades in this particular locale. While some are Victorian replicas, a few authentic 13th-century structures have managed to endure the test of time.
